Field Trip to the

Monroe County Clerk's Office

On March 6, we went to the Monroe Clerk's Office for a tour. We learned that the Clerk's Office is a History Keeper.  They have all kinds of all documents and books about the history of properties, and paperwork from the courts.

Ms Rebecca Case Caico led our tour.

We got to look at some really old deed books.

Here we are with the Monroe County Clerk and the staff that helped us.

We weren't allowed to do research, but Ms. DeLorenzo did it for us and gave us a folder with all the documents the Clerk's Office had about the Agate-Zornow House.

We are checking out a really cool map of the Agate House that was at the Clerk's Office.
